Fellowship Connect Structure

Fellowship Connect is structured according to the Judicial District structure for the State of Iowa. There are 8 Judicial Districts. Fellowship Connection calls these areas District Zones 1-8.  Each district contains approximately 10-20 counties. We are searching for volunteer leadership at the district and county level. District leadership will be responsible for overseeing activities over the entire district level. County leadership will oversee activities at the county level. The emphasis of all positions within this ministry will be to network, build upon that network and to ensure that Fellowship Connect has committed Connection Teams. This is not about building a list. This is about building relations. It is going to be alot of work. If this is something you feel led to participate in please examine the information below and contact us.

Leadership Application

Network Leader Process

Network Leader Process

Fellowship Connect's desire is to have a large network of resources across the Midwest. But in order to achieve this goal, FC's network leaders will need to think small at the same time. It is very important that we strive to establish teams that are solid and committed to the process of follow-up necessary to help people become a part of their group or to be helped by their organization.

Fellowship Connect's network leaders will work on a priority based level. We will attempt to establish a base of resource groups in larger communities across the Midwest. Once these Network communities are established, we will move outward from those communities into smaller surrounding communities. The hope is that some of this activity will happen automatically through the groups that are built, as they seek to connect people with groups and organizations closer to their hometowns. We will deal with situations on an individual basis when an applicant is going to an area we have not yet networked.

Please remember as you network groups in the area you have chosen that our purpose is to connect people with the types of groups and organizations they preference on their questionnaire. How each individual leader accomplishes this will obviously depend upon the geographical area and the resources available there.

Accomplishing the Goal

Each network leader will choose a geographical zone based around an area they feel that they can best network. Fellowship Connect will provide on this website or by other means the necessary forms for any interested ministry for sign up along with those needed for the ministry.

Network Leaders will attempt to achieve the following goals:

1

Research groups and organizations through the Internet or by other means, choosing approximately 5-10 you feel you should network. Concentrate on one at a time!

2

If possible, try to establish a network of groups and organizations across a city, so applicants will possibly be able to choose something very close to where they will be living.

3

Approach those groups. If they are interested, forward to them the information about Fellowship Connect, along with a link to this website or any necessary forms to establish their leader and group.

4

When they have started a connection team, they should return to you  the two copies of the basic information sheet about their organization.Team leader contact information along with a description of their organization will be on this sheet. This will detail the type of group or organization they are. Establish these records neatly in a three-ring binder in case you ever pass the ministry on to another person. Forward the second copy of the information sheet to Fellowship Connect. FC will keep a master of all the sign-up sheets on file.

5

When an applicant completes a questionnaire, Fellowship Connect will forward the questionnaire to the network leader for that geographical zone at the county level.

6

The network leader will forward that information to the organizations and groups they feel will best help the applicant. Be available to answer questions and give advice. Stay positive and affirming. The network leaders will have a working knowledge and understanding of the organizations and groups in their geographical areas which Fellowship Connect will be working with.

7

Encourage your network to branch out into neighboring communities.
