Providing a network of resources toward spiritual growth for those on release from correctional facilities across the Midwest.
Fellowship Connect is a network of ministries, groups and other organizations across the Midwest working towards connecting those who are incarcerated to available resources prior to and directly after their release from the correctional system. Another key factor of this ministry is to bring together as much information about those providing aftercare or prison ministry into one place, so that we can all partner to achieve our common goals.
Questionaires are provided at correctional facilities. The information gathered with the questionaires is then forwarded to network participants in the area of the state in which the person will be living upon release. Applications are forwarded to the representative from the particular Religious Community that the individual chooses. Fellowship Connect works toward linking people with the types of ministries, groups or organizations they have preferenced on their questionaires. Fellowship Connect works with a wide variety of different resources, from churches, recovery groups and neighborhood associations, to hobby and special interest ministries.
Fellowship Connect is looking for contact people within each Religious Community to become involved in this process, so that we can link people to the resources those communities feel they can provide. If you feel your Particular Religious Community has a resource that would be helpful to those leaving incarceration, please consider participating in this program. Group Application
The main concept of the ministry is to connect those leaving incarceration with people in organizations who are committed to building a relationship with those individuals and connecting them to their organization's activities.
Another Key concept of the ministry is to connect people with the resources necessary for a successful re-entry into society. This will be accomplished by using every possible resource available to help them achieve this goal.
We will also strive to enrich the lives of our Long Termers populations within the correctional environment through informational pages on this website that will bring awareness to the needs of the institutions religious and other programs, and providing longterm fellowship and correspondence opportunities.
Our ministry will work closely with the correctional environment to ensure a standardized, uniform and approved method of ministry which will be a benefit to all involved.
Fellowship Connect needs partners to help us network in different cities across the Midwest. Please consider becoming involved in this important ministry.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER:
Fellowship Connect will not make any distinguishment between specific religious, denominational or organizational groups. We will work with the State of Iowa and other affiliations to provide the most comprehensive base of resources available to those leaving incarceration. It is an individuals own choice where they wish to worship. By policy, we will direct those leaving incarceration only according to what they have shown a preference for on their questionaires. We will work with the ministries and groups which have made themselves available for this. We will attempt to include every possible resource available. We will also strive toward a unity of purpose to accomplish our ultimate goal of helping those we are trying to serve.
This is a privately owned, independent christian website and ministry. This ministry exists for the purpose of enhancing the re-entry process of those leaving incarceration from the correctional system in the State of Iowa. This ministry does not necessarily endorse the specific views or beliefs of each resource listed on this website, but is working with those resources in cooperation with and in allowance with the State of Iowa's policy pertaining to unbiased religious programming and with specific state and federal statutes. Because this website can be directly accessed and accept applications from inmates while they are incarcerated, it is required that this ministry makes various religious sources available for those inmates to choose on their applications.
We ask that your particular organization will consider what possible impact and affect it can have in these individual's lives.
How can your organization make a difference?
What does your organization have that maybe another group doesn't have available as a tool for growth and a better life?
We hope that you will choose to make your resources for spiritual growth available to them.
